Fwd: Architecture

Generating patterns at the GSD

[From Hannah McCann at the Culture desk] Whose job is it to link culture, intelligence, and technology? Yours, the architect's. Harvard's Graduate School of Design examines the new ways architects meet this responsibility in Patterns: Cases in Synthetic Intelligence. Twelve firms exhibit projects that suggest an emerging generation of patterns. Redundancy can be both precise and elastic, say GSD design critic Paul Andersen and David Salomon, visiting critic from Cornell Architecture, who together curate the show. Through March 15.
